Hey people! I'm back from blogging once again, actually i wanna blog yesterday but i was too tired and wasn't at home. So no worries i will blog about yesterday yeah?
Yesterday
Woke up at around 4 and went out of my house at around 6.45am in the morning because i'm going for check up for the diving course, took bus 161 down to woodland and changed bus 169 to Sembawang camp. I'm supposed to reached there by 8am but when i looked at my time, it was only 7.30am. Reached Sembawang camp at 7.50am and already i can see quite a few people there, we booked it at around 9am to the Medical Center. We sign a declaration formed saying that we have not come into contact with people who were affected y the H1N1 virus and whether or not did we went overseas for the passed 7 days. Took our temperature and went inside and we were given 3 tubes for blood drawing, 1 short purple headed tube and 2 red long headed tube. The Medic there told us that once we took the tubes the first 4 can go into the room and start drawing blood, i was the first to go in together with the other 3. First the Medic cleaned the part where he's gonna poke the needle into my vain, although i was nervous during that moment because the last time i draw blood was last year which is the medical check for MSTD. It wasn't that painful afterall, so the purple headed tube was filled with my blood full continued by the red headed tube until the last tube. There's totally no blood at all, the Medic immediately called his friend to take another red coloured tube. What he did was that guy slowly walked to the cupboard and take 1 tube and walked back slowly again while the Medic attending to me just left the needle in my vain and walk to somewhere else. I was feeling giddy that moment and was about to vomit also, he tried again but in the end there's no blood coming out. He took off the needle and asked me to relax and i was drinking water to re gain my conscious, nest he asked me to turn to the left side so that he can draw the blood from my left hand. He took the syringe from a box and asked me not to look at the needle, but i ignored and watched it. The moment he poke into my skin, i can start to feel the pain. The syringe did not collect any blood because he poke the wrong side, which is just beside my vain but not into the vain. He took out again and poke in at the correct position this time, but somehow there's no blood also. He twisted the needle left and right and it was really very painful, and luckily this time round there's blood flowing. After the drawing of blood i went up to the second floor and start with the rest of the medical check. They check on our height & weight, body fats, blood pressure, hearing, X Ray, eyesight, colour blindness, how much air you can exhaled and Hyperbaric pressure. We finished everything except the Hyperbaric chamber test at around noon and next we had to consult the doctor to determine whether are we fit or not to go into the chamber test. The MO(Medical Officer) was looking at my profile and my X ray, suddenly he check my ear drum and asked me to clear pressure. After both side has been tested he told me "Your bone is actually the average size like normal people has, but the magnificent thing is that you have big lungs. In fact you are super healthy and you are a Pest A, so next time if you were to enlist in the NS you will most properly get into the Naval Diving Unit." I was like WOW! Never did i expect the outcome to be so good, and 1 more thing i'm very concerning and i asked the MO "Sir how about enlisted to Commandos? Will i get the chance?" The MO replied "Yes of course, in fact you are very fit and perhaps you may get a chance to get into the SOF(Special Operation Force)" After hearing his words i was super happy and overjoyed. Next test and the last test is the Hyperbaric test, 10 of us including myself walked all the way into the NDU Hyperbaric Chamber Center. It's a chamber that looks like a tablet size enlarged 40 times that size, we were told to wear only cotton. It was also a simulator that simulates someone diving underwater for 10m. What we have to do inside is just to clear the pressure and thats it. We clear and clear and clear unknowingly that we have already finish the test, everything went out smoothly and was super happy that i passed the medical. After that went home and ate my dinner and went to have a good evening nap.
I miss you
